Happy Monday, everybody! Did you see the vanilla pound cake that went up last week? It is seriously SO GOOD. Put it on your list to make ASAP. Also, the Instant Pot chicken lettuce wraps are a great weeknight meal if you're looking for something quick and easy -- I made them myself last Thursday when our other dinner plans fell through and they were perfect.
Pound cake is the best friend of the dessert world. It's not fussy. It can be dressed up with whipped cream and berries, slathered with butter and placed on a grill, or simply sliced and enjoyed alongside a steaming cup of coffee. It’s happy to be loved exactly as it is.
Here’s a light dinner that’s easy to make last-minute and doesn't heat up your kitchen! Pressure cook the savory chicken filling, then spoon it into lettuce wraps for an easy meal.
Chocolate and peanut butter are a definite contender for best dessert duo. Personally, my love for the pairing has a lot to do with the irresistible combination of sweet and salty.
These rich, chocolatey brownies with enticing swirls of peanut butter throughout send my taste buds into a tizzy with every bite. (And it doesn't hurt that they're so visually appealing.)
Pasta has so much going for it: it's inexpensive, it's easy to cook, and it's a blank canvas for the continuous parade of fresh veggies that appear from May through September.
I'm pretty certain I make pasta more in the summer than in the winter — and if that's not the case, I'm definitely more creative and less inclined toward red sauces in the summertime!
