 When planning my fall menus, I’m always trying to incorporate such fall specialties as mushrooms, winter squash, greens, and chestnuts.  One of my favorite things about fall is that I know that our local produce markets will be overflowing with seasonal, just picked apples of every color. Although the old saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" may be stretching things just a bit, apples are one healthy fruit option that are always easy to find, are relatively inexpensive, and are very easy to store.  This gently simmered, bacon wrapped meat dish is sort of a cross between meatloaf and meatballs, but whatever you want to call it, it’s a delicious idea for cooler fall days.  I just wanted to share a few changes we’ve recently made here on IFF as well as a new feature from Ziplist.
