When planning my fall menus, I’m always trying to incorporate such fall specialties as mushrooms, winter squash, greens, and chestnuts. One of my favorite things about fall is that I know that our local produce markets will be overflowing with seasonal, just picked apples of every color. This gently simmered, bacon wrapped meat dish is sort of a cross between meatloaf and meatballs, but whatever you want to call it, it’s a delicious idea for cooler fall days. I just wanted to share a few changes we’ve recently made here on IFF as well as a new feature from Ziplist.
